William Morris was a renowned print designer and artisan who was active between 1861 and 1896. He was a key figure in the Arts & Crafts Movement advocating handmade methods. Combining a love for the past and nature, many of his designs draw inspiration from medieval herbaria and zoology motifs. Morris’s classic and highly decorative motifs are still popular to this day and are often used to style modern homes and spaces.
